Pilates is often viewed as a form of exercise used by women,

but in truth it can benefit people of all ages and genders. Pilates is a mind-body exercise which challenges and builds core strength – the muscles in your stomach, chest, back, and buttocks that are involved in almost every movement you make. This makes Pilates highly effective at improving strength, mobility, balance, and posture. As well as making other physical and daily activities easier, this can protect the long-term health of your bones and joints. You could also practise Pilates to aid weight loss, to strengthen and repair your muscles during and after pregnancy respectively, and to reduce stress and renew your zest for life.
I’m 68 year old male and always used to try and keep fit. Since my heart by pass 5 years have skipped by I have really let things go. I just found it hard to motivate myself. Moving to Seaford and meeting Monta at Seaford fitness has really changed EVERYTHING. I’m doing Pilates , gym strength building in circuit training and a 1-2-1 session once a week. The circuit training is the hardest but Monta allows me to work at my own place whiist giving me the encouragement I need to push myself . I’m really feeling the benefit and for anyone who is a novice or who just wants to look and feel better I cannot recommend her highly…
